Prince Muhammad Bin Nasr Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Jizan region, is scheduled to inaugurate 2,000 residential units on March 14 on behalf of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The event will mark the first stage of the King Abdullah Housing Development Project for the housing of displaced citizens in Jizan. Dr. Yousuf Al-Othaimeen, Minister of Social Affairs, said: “The first stage consists of 2,000 residential units out of 6,000 residential units ordered by King Abdullah and these residential units are located on five secure sites near the original houses of the displaced citizens. The total cost of the project is SR6 billion.” He also promised that the residential areas will include all essential services such as schools for boys and girls, health centers, and telephone and water networks.
