Various activities of the 28th Gulf Traffic Week were launched here recently by Prince Misha'l Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Jeddah Province, under the theme, “Together to Reduce Traffic Accidents”. Ahmed Bin Jalalah, Deputy Chairman of the Makkah Technical Council, who received Prince Misha'l, said his organization was involved in several programs promoting the traffic week to help reduce traffic accidents in the country. Meanwhile, the Industrial Institute in Qunfudah city also organized events which formed part of the traffic week. Saeed Alzbaidy, Director of the institute, said the organization has trained more than 100 trainers and trainees from the Vehicle and Vocational Safety Department at the institute. He added that banners, posters and leaflets were printed to educate people about safety regulations. Alzbaidy thanked the traffic department for organizing the Traffic Safety Forum at the institute. Meanwhile, Prince Misha'l also toured an exhibition held at the Makkah Technical Council, which included a portrait of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, designed and printed in the automatic printing division of the council. __
