Metrofile Sixer beat Falcon and Kokan Green beat Blackcaps to win their respective divisions in Prince Sultan Bin Nasir T-20 Cricket Cup tournament (2011-212) organized by Riyadh Cricket League here recently. The Premier I final between Falcon and Metrofile Sixer saw Falcon electing to bat first and being restricted to 187 in 20 overs. Metrofile bowlers Basharat (3 wickets), Imran and Jamshed (2 each) wrecked the Falcon's battling lineup. The only important partnership came from Atif (42) and Siraj (28). Metro reached the target in the 14th over, thanks mainly to man-of-the-match Imran for his innings of 87. Khawar Zafar scored 62. Blackcaps won the toss in the Premier II final and decided to take the strike against Kokan Green. Blackcaps struggled against Kokan bowlers. It could manage only 170 runs in 20 overs. Sana (47), Farhad (28) and Sabaj (19) were among the runs for Blackcaps. Kokan Green's Mahboob bagged three wickets and Siraj two. Kokan chased the total of 171 in 16.2 overs with man-of-the-match Mahboob smashing 70, Mohammed Abu 44 and Mansoor 25. The RCL organized the matches under the patronage of Prince Sulatan Bin Nasir Bin Abdulaziz, and the event was sponsored by Haneef Baber. A prize distribution ceremony followed where the following players picked up the honors: Premier League-I: Metro's Imran Khan: man of the match in the final; Super Club's Adnan Malik: best bowler; Falcon's Farrukh Saeed: best batsman; and Metro's Basharat Ali Shah: player of the tournament. Premier League-II: Kokan Green's Mahboob: final's man of the match; Riyadh Sports Club's Shah Nawaz: best bowler, Faiq Ali: best batsman: and Nadeem: player of the tournament.
