Peeran XI, Hyderabad Sharks triumph

JEDDAH — Peeran XI and Hyderabad Sharks recorded big wins by 8 wickets and 94 runs over Rawalpindi Stars and MB Stars, respectively, in the 10th week of the Ace Travel Saudi Cup.
In the other matches, Banswada Ball Burners beat Saudi German Hospital by 25 urns and Pepsi Deccan Knights continued to march ahead, beating Jeddah Royal Challengers by 8 wickets. This event is sponsored by Ace Travel and Tours and is organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
The spotlight was on Peeran as it chased down Rawalpindi Star's big total of 204-2 with superb knocks by Imran (60) and Zeeshan (52), who also shone with the ball taking 2 for 31. Hyderabad Sharks owed its success to Saddam Hussain who blasted a scintillating century (133 from 54 balls studded with 12 sixes and 8 fours), It helped the team to a massive 94-run win over MB Stars and maintain its position at the top of the table. Banswada Ball Burners rallied to a fighting 25-run win over Saudi German Hospital, mainly due to Salman's superb all-round show — 74 (8 fours, 2 sixes) and 4 for 28. Pepsi Deccan continued its upward march over Group minnows Jeddah Royal Challengers bundling them out for 138 with Akbar (2-36), Israr (2-20) and Osman (2-20) sharing the spoils and Najib (58) guiding the team to an 8-wicket win.

Banswada Ball Burners beat Saudi German Hospital by 25 runs. Banswada Ball Burners 181-5 (Salman 74, Raheel 29, Rana Shahzad 22 not out; Bilal 2-32, Nader 2-30). Saudi German Hospital 156 all out (Taqi 76; Salman 4-28, Fahad 2-28, Raheel 2-24).
Pepsi Deccan Knights beat Jeddah Royal Challengers by 8 wickets. Jeddah Royal Challengers 138 all out (Fuad 22, Shiraz 21; Akbar 2-36, Israr 2-20, Osman 2-20). Pepsi Deccan Knights 142-2 (Kashif 37, Najeeb 58).
