Pepsi Deccan Knights maul Multan Tigers

JEDDAH — Pepsi Deccan Knights mauled Multan Tigers by bundling them out for a paltry 130 and then knocking off 133 in just 5.5 overs without losing a wicket in the 3rd week matches of the Ace Travel Saudi Cup, sponsored by Ace Travel and Tours and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
Kashif Shafiq of Pepsi Deccan Knights went berserk scoring an unbeaten 126 in only 31 balls as he smashed 17 fours and 9 sixes. So much was his dominance that his opening partner scored only 7 runs in 4 balls he faced. Medium pacer Akbar recorded second five-wickets haul consecutively (5-22).
In other matches, MB Stars beat Rawalpindi by 6 wickets thanks to Jawad's superb spell of 3-21. Saudi German Hospital thrashed Peeran XI by 141 runs with Taqi scoring 79 with 13 fours and a six and taking 2-14. Banswada Ball Burner continued its unbeaten run making it 3 out of 3 by beating new entrant G Board by 8 runs with Shahzad scoring an unbeaten 36 runs and taking 3-31. Hyderabad Sharks Premier also made short work of Malik XI by 9 wickets, riding on Mohammed Shahzad's unbeaten 42 runs and 2-10.
