Hyderabad Sharks, BBB, Gboard, SGH excel

JEDDAH — Hyderabad Sharks, Saudi German Hospital, Banswada Ball Burners and Gboard excelled with contrasting wins in the 5th week matches of the Ace Travel Saudi Cup sponsored by Ace Travel and Tours and organized by JCA.
Hyderabad Sharks dumped Peeran XI by a massive 166 runs with impressive bowling performance by Mubashir (4-26) and Shahid (3-19). Saudi German Hospital inflicted a 10-wicket win on Malik XI as Taqi and Shaan remained unbeaten on 54 (12 fours) and 78 (12 fours, 3 sixes), respectively. Banswada Ball Burner burned the challenge posed by Jeddah Challengers with a solid 46-run win, aided by impressive knocks by Rahil (65), Rana (66) and Zameer (70). Gboard was made to struggle before overcoming ICAD by 13 runs in a high scoring encounter, thanks to Kamran's solid knock of 64 runs.

Saudi German Hospital beat Malik XI by 10 wickets. Malik XI 135-9 (Saad 26, Nasik 40; Irshad 3-40, Taqi 2-21). Saudi German Hospital 138 for no loss (Taqi 54, Shaan 78).
Banswada Ball Burners beat Jeddah Challengers by 46 runs. Banswada Ball Burners 267-7 (Rahil 65, Zameer 73, Rana 66; Shiraz 2-38). Jeddah Challengers 221 all out (Ghulam 50, Rizwan 34, Waseem 55, Rizwan Senior 30, Aziz 22; Qaiser 2-17 Usman 4-17).
Gboard beat ICAD by 13 runs. Gboard 218-7 (Kamran 64, Munawwar 26, Faraz 38; Shakeel 2-39). ICAD 205-8 (Malik 28, Munawwar 42, Altaf 23, Ali 21; Amanullah 2-18, Faraz 2-38).
Pepsi Deccan Knights and MB Stars recorded overwhelming wins by 10 wickets against Rawalpindi Stars and Multan Tigers, respectively in the 4th week matches.
Pepsi Deccan Knight bowling star Akbar once again chanced his arm with a fine spell of 4-37 and Kashif blasted an unbeaten 71 with 9 fours and 5 sixes to give them a 10-wicket win.
Zia's all-round show (3-16 and unbeaten 71 with 6 fours and 5 sixes) gave a massive 10-wicket win for MB Stars against toothless Multan Tigers. Yasser's quick-fire 86 laced with 7 fours and 6 sixes enabled Hyderabad Sharks pile up 248 and bundle out Gboard for 185 to gain a 63-run win. Malik XI scored an easy 5-wicket win in a low scoring match against Jeddah Challengers.

Malik XI beat Jeddah Challengers by 5 wickets. Jeddah Challengers 97 all out (Ahsan 26; Imran 3-18, Yunus 2-36). Malik XI 98-5 (Ali Raza 26; Fawad 2-16).
Hyderabad Sharks beat Gboard by 63 runs. Hyderabad Sharks 248-5 (Yasser 86, Sohail 45, Arif 29 not out, Assad 29; Waseem 2-55, Faisal 2-36). Gboard 185 all out (Ikramullah 23, Amanullah 48, Faraz 37 not out; Arif 3-33, Sharoz 2-26, Sohail 2-2).
MB Stars beat Multan Tigers by 10 wickets. Multan Tigers 114 (Saleem 31, Ilyas 46; Jawad 4-25, Zia 3-16). MB Stars 107 for no loss (Zia 71 not out, Hasnain 36 not out).
