Rashid, Asghar trick in WPCA Summer

JEDDAH — Rashid of Hyderabad Strikers and Asghar of Black Hawks claimed a hat trick each as Stallions, Al Saudi Green, Black Hawks, Sadafco, Royal Brothers, Nawayeth and Jeddah Tigers emerged victorious in the WPCA Summer Morning Tournament.
Stallions thrashed Cousins XI by 38 runs. Stallions racked up 200 for 8. Abdu smashed 70 in 41 balls, Nawaz 32 and Asim 43. Irfan Khan took 2-33. Cousins XI managed 162 for 7. Aqeel Shabbir hit 27, Jamal Ahmed scored 59 n.o. in 43 balls, Haider Ashraf 25, Naveed Qamar 21 and Adil Maqsood 15. Jawad scalped 3 for 25.
Al Saudi Green beat INMA by 35 runs. Al Saudi Green tallied 188 for 6. Kamran hit 36 and Owais 43. Nazeer Farooqui 16, Manzoor 22 and Munzir 23 n.o contributed. Ikram had 2-49. INMA made 153 for 9. Nazeem scored 58 n.o. in 38 balls, Safi 18, Dayan 22 and Nadeem 20 standing out. Munzir took 4 for 25, Imran 2-27 and Nadeem Saad 2-28 in the winning cause.
Black Hawks beat Super Cricket Club by 23 runs. Black Hawks produced 132 for 8. Abdulrafay hit 20, Arsalan 15, Waqas 21 and Gurpeet 15 n.o. Fayaz took 2-1 and Altaf 2-21. SCC slipped to 109. Asghar took a fine hat trick in his 3 for 12 and Anas 3 for 20 as Imran hit 25 and Altaf 39.
Sadafco beat ADI XI by 51 runs. Sadafco plundered 206 for 9. Salman 41, Ahmed Mugheri 40, Ali Jan Mugheri 26, Mohammed Madni 39 n.o., Tauseef 15 and Saqib 17 contributed. Azeem scalped 4 for 21. ADI XI managed 155 for 9. Yasir made 24, Adeel 36 and Omar 15. Zubair took 2-1, Saqib 2-26, Abdulrehman 2-23 and Ehtesham 2-27.
Royal Brothers stunned ATC by 3 wickets. ATC was bundled out for 92. Babar Mughal scored 37. Shoaib took 3 for 16, Hameed Khan 2-14, Saeed 2-26 and Abdullah 2-28. Royal Brothers made 93 for 7 in 93 balls. Qasim made 16 and Saeed was unbeaten on 33.
Nawayeth C C beat Arcoma by 5 wickets. Arcoma made 130 for 6. Kaleem scored 19, Pervez Abdi 32, Ayaz Lala 23 and Shareef 33 n.o. Shahoor took 3 for 29. Nawayeth C C posted 133 for 5 in 104 balls to win. Salman smashed 51 in 37 balls, Ashfaque 16 n.o. and Shahoor 16. Nabeel took 2-19 and Pervez 2-29.
Apex Express defeated Hyderabad Strikers by 44 runs. Apex Express hit 185 for 7. Rizwan hammered 90 in 56 balls and Mohammed Asif (35). Rashid took 4 for 20, including a hat trick, to reduce Apex Express to 95 for 5.
Hyderabad Strikers made 141 for 5. Aman Jaweed hit 52 in 37 balls and Anwar 42. Abubakr took 3 for 15 and Omer 2-25.
Jeddah Tigers beat Bihar International Fighter by 36 runs. Jeddah Tigers scored 150 for 8. Waheed hit 40 and Sohail Sarhandi 16. Usman took 3 for 19, Rehan 2-10 and Moin 2-31. Bihar International Fighter made 114. Zain hit 35, Moeen 15 and Ashiq 17. Imtiyaz took 3 for 20, Irfan 3 for 22 and Sameer 2-27.
AFTERNOON SUMMER:
Thales Group defeated OMD Tuskers and Jotun Paints beat UCC in the WPCA Afternoon Summer Tournament.
Thales Group beat OMD Tuskers by 25 runs. Thales Group scored 168. Imran hit 29, Kausar 52 in 30 balls, Abid 20 and Shams 16. Shabbir 3 for 25, Rameez 3 for 35 and Shamsuddin 2-35 shone. OMD Tuskers made 143 for 9. Sabur scored 30, Yashik Alangad 22, Kadiri 23, Mahesh 28 and Rameez 16. Ali took 3 for 17, Abid 2-22 and Mohammed 2-33.
Jotun Paints defeated UCC by 66 runs. Jotun racked up 205 for 7. Shafeeq blasted 95 in 51 balls as he added huge 140 in 77 balls with Shabbir, who made 60 in 38 balls. Sarfaraz had 3 for 31 and Ibrar 2-37. UCC managed 140 for 9. Wajid hit 28, Sarfaraz 28, Ibrar 18 and Jibran 15 n.o. Jamil claimed 4 for 16 and Imran 3 for 22.
