On the occasion of 19th foundation day, Al-Yasmin International School, Riyadh, committed itself to put more efforts for overall development of the community through education. Speaking on this occasion Principal K. Rahamathullah disclosed that the school is focusing on five key areas which are development of school culture, imparting best education for the community, child care and safety, effective teaching and learning, implementing learning program and over all development of the school. He also said that they have big plans for the 20th foundation day next year. He sought the support and cooperation of Yasminities and said that the school management has dreams to contribute for the development of the community. This dream cannot be achieved without support of Yasminities," he said. K.Rahamathullah also said that the school management has come up with the scholarship program for Grade XI. The scholarship will be offered to those who secure 10 CGPA/95% plus marks in Grade X board exams. He congratulated the staff who have been with the school right from its inception. Chief Guest Air India AGM Kundan Lal Gothwal appreciated Al-Yasmin International School for its landmark achievement during the spectacular journey over 19 years. He said that the educational excellence and achievements by students are possible only due to the continuous efforts of the teachers. "The educational institutions play an important role in shaping the overall personality of the students. Principal, Teachers, Management all of them play a vital role in shaping the children," he said. Kundan Lal said according to the ancient saying the teacher was given the third position after God and mother. Even the father was given the fourth place, after the teacher. He appreciated the principal for his efforts and contribution and called him a good leader and motivator. He wished progress and achievement of Yasmin school with good results in future. The guests of honor were Ibrahim Subhan, International Energy Forum, representative & social worker, and Ahmed Imtiaz, former higher board member, International Indian School. They also spoke on this occasion. They said the school is privileged to be supported by ambitious and dedicated management, who have been materializing their vision with their untiring efforts and team coordination. Rahamathullah then presented a memento to Kundan Lal. The celebration included a welcome dance by KG tiny tots and a couple of events by the senior students, which were applauded by the audience. Following this the Quindecennial Awardees Luiza, Rehana Amjad, Jeby Iqbal, Ummer V and the Decennial Awardees Zaynab Hydara, Mohammed Altaf, Sangeetha Annup, Latha Sundaram, and Hassan were felicitated with mementos and gold coins. Asha Cherian, headmistress, girls' section, proposed the vote of thanks. She said, "It was a day to exchange pleasantries, to reestablish our valued association and to share with all our excitement of success. And above all a day to prepare ourselves once again to face challenges." The program ended with the national anthems of India and Saudi Arabia.
