RIYADH — Al-Yasmin International School (AYIS), Riyadh, celebrated its 17th Foundation Day and Award Ceremony on May 11. The function was presided over by Jaber Abdul Wahab, director of Peevees Group of Schools and Bridgeway Group of Companies. Other distinguished guests included A.M. Ashraff, general manager, Peevees Group of Schools; S.M. Noushad, group manager; Sreedevi Menon, assistant director of programs, and Razi Shaik, group deputy manager. The celebrations began with the recitation of the Holy Qu'ran. K. Rahamathullah, principal Al-Yasmin International School, welcomed the guests. “Every journey begins with the first step of articulating the intention, and then becoming the intention,” Vice Principal Kadhiresan said while describing the journey of AYIS. Pupils of the primary section presented a welcome dance. Following this, quindecennial and decennial awardees were felicitated with mementos. In his presidential speech, Chief Guest Jaber Abdul Wahab appreciated the efforts of the school management and teachers in shaping the young minds for a better future. He congratulated the staff who have sailed with the school right from inception. Then students of the primary section performed a colorful, acrobatic dance.
