Kabalen Strikers outscore FB Rhinos

JEDDAH — Kabalen Strikers unleashed another massive might for an outstanding output that won them their second Team of the Week honor eliciting 21 points and containing FB Rhinos with a point at the end of their 3,630-3,426 settlement in the 25th week of the FEDBG Friday Morning Bowling at the Bowling City here.

Rene Balangue and Simeon Dellosa defended Fine Boys with 647 and 643 with Oliver Robles, Minda Guevara, Imelda Sayago and Lofamia combining for 2,136.
RL Titans also gained morale when they cornered second-running BCT-JBS on a 20-2 points decision with Lady Bowler of the Week Susan Patayan adding prestige to this Ryan Liwagon-managed and-captained team. Patayan spearheaded Titans with 670 series built from games of 249, 210 and 211 in their 3,584-3,556 holding of BCT-JBS. The Emil Payongayong-captained defending champion team managed to escape empty basket only on the last handicapped set at 1,145-1,132 as the Titans took two thirds at 1,228-1,189 and 1,224-1,222. Kemo and Melo Dianco superbly supported Patayan with 647 and 622 while Nap Patayan, Azmi Nordin and Sharmaine Patayan shared a combined above average at 1,645. Concrete defense of BCT-JBS was provided by Payongayon 631, Eloisa Fernandez 626, Aisah Silabay 600, Edward Botardo 582, Jimmy Aragones 560 and Rommel Cagampang 557.
Sharing the limelight was Bing Amolo, who, with 682 series, won the Male Bowler of the Week award in leading the Dabarkadz, toppling undermanned Pin Down at 20-2 on settlement of 3,480-3,298. Amolo pursed the most coveted individual award on game 262, 197 and 223 with Ed Sardina supporting best at 608. Tommy Kamal tried armoring Pin Down with 659 but with TC Leo Edejer, Tess Grandia, Matet Cavite and Rudy Valenzuela in their average shares, Dabarkadz managed to sustain last berth of top four red-liner teams. Tailing Dabarkadz was Sagmit Dental Clinic that blanked Superbowl Dozers, caused mostly by TC Ric Reformado 665 and Ruel Santoc 637. Natty Caringal covered the Dozers with 634.
