The Batterjee Medical College (BMC) for Health Sciences and Technology invited parents and students from various nationalities on Jan. 19 for an educational seminar and a tour around the college and its facilities. Principals, professors, lecturers, teachers, medical professionals, businesspeople and students from various international schools were present at the event dubbed “Commotion 2012.” The guests listened to BMC students and their managing committees speak about the college and why students could consider attending it to pursue higher studies in the Kingdom. The event's organizer, KSA Group, arranged for some Saudi artists to grace the occasion: actors Hani Nader and Mohammed Bakhsh, lyricist and poet Shaikh Fuad Yanbawi, and singer Hasan Iskandrani. Indian singer Saheb Khan was also present to regale audiences along with some local performers. Khan performed some numbers in several languages including English, Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil and Hindi.Khan called BMC owners Dr. Khaled Batterjee & Engr. Sobhi Batterjee real heroes for their efforts in bringing education to greater heights. BMC Vice Dean Dr. Suhail Khan and Saudi German Hospital Marketing Manager Rashid Lateef presented a memento to the Indian singer.
