Saturday League in knockout stage

RCA Saturday T20 League, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association, has reached the knockout stage. The first round matches were completed amidst heavy sandstorm here recently.
In Round 7, Lahore Badshah got the better of Kashmir Strikers by 72 runs and booked its place in the quarterfinals. Lahore Badshah scored 246-2 as Mudassar hit 96 and Fahad 95. Kashmir Strikers managed 174-9. Mushtaq topscored with 53. Asif and Owais picked up 2 wickets each.
Sama Steel beat PTI Tigers by 25 runs. Sama Steel posted 210 through Awais (65), Saddam (40) and Waseem (35). PTI Tigers CC managed 185, in reply.
Pakistan Falcons thrashed Riyadh Aces by 104 runs. Pakistan Falcons put on a formidable total of 275-1. Kamran Akram scored 86, Asif Zaki 75 and Yasser 55. Riyadh Aces, in reply, managed 171-6. Umar contributed 76 and Waqas 45. Tila claimed 3 wickets and Ayaz 2. The match between Pak Shaheen and KFSH Riyadh Warriors could not be completed due to sandstorm. Batting first, Pak Shaheen tallied 270-4 through Irshad (73), Faisal (70) and Abdul Waheed (69). When the match was stopped, KFSH Riyadh Warriors were 88-3 in 6.2 overs. Nasir Abbasi hit 38 and Amjad Ali 28. Shirzada picked up 2 wickets. Both teams shared one point each.
In Round 8, Riyadh Blues beat All Stars CC by 52 runs and confirmed their place in the quarterfinals. Riyadh Blues, batting first, scored 265-5. Zaheeruddin hit 64, Abu Sufyan 61 and Shakeel 51. Talal grabbed 3 wickets. All Stars, in reply, managed 213-8. Talha scored 43 and Ali 29. Shakeel and Farhan grabbed 2 wickets each.
Sama Steel trounced KFSH Green by 128 runs. Sama Steel recorded a huge total of 316-2. Asif Butt slammed 134 off 55 balls and Ramzan Butt 105 off 39 balls. KFSH Green was restricted to 188. Asif Butt and Waseem claimed 3 wickets each.
In the quarterfinals lineup: Pak Shaheen vs. Kashmir Strikers, Pakistan Falcons vs. Lahore Badshah, KFSH Riyadh Warriors vs. Amer Holidays and Sama Steel vs. Riyadh Blues. — SG
