High-scoring matches in RCA Saturday League

JEDDAH — After heavy rains washed out all the matches on Friday, RCA Saturday League continued on schedule on a bright sunshine day. RCA Saturday League is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association.
In round 3, Pak Shaheen thrashed Pakistan Falcons CC by 65 runs. Electing to bat first, Pak Shaheen posted a formidable total of 235-3 in the stipulated 20 overs. Ibrar Ul Haq looked in great touch and scored 96 off 50 balls. He was well supported by Abdul Waheed (65) and Irshad Mubashir (50). Ayaz and Asim bagged a wicket apiece.
Pakistan Falcons managed 170, in reply. Asif Zaki top scored with 47 andf Adnan added 38. Faisal Khan picked up 4 wickets and Irshad Mubashir got 2.
Riyadh Blues beat Riyadh Aces by 23 runs in another high-scoring game. Riyadh Blues posted 213-7. Zaheeruddin scored 90 and Abu Sufyan 61. Saleem claimed 3 wickets and Safdar 2. Riyadh Aces, in reply, were all out for 190. Nadeem top scored with 51, Waseem hit 39 and Omar 36. Shakeel, Saleem and Himayath took 2 wickets each.
Lahore Badshah thrashed KFSH Green by 63 runs. Lahore Badshah posted 254-5. Mudassir played brilliantly and blasted 153 off 75 balls. Awais grabbed 3 wickets. KFSH Green, in reply, managed 191. Mazhar made 67 and Ubaid 28. Yassir, Taimoor and Imran took 2 wickets each.
Sama Steel defeated Kashmir Strikers by 57 runs. Sama Steel, batting first, tallied 220-5. Awais scored 84 and Asif Khan 57. Mushtaq picked up 2 wickets. Kashmir Strikers, in reply, managed 163. Amir contributed 43 and Bilal 31. Mansoor claiamed 4 wickets, while Adnan and Asif Butt got 2 wickets each.
In round 4, Amer Holidays got the better of KFSH Green by 5 wickets. KFSH Green posted a good total of 205-6, thanks mainly to openers Kausar Shah (109) and Ubaid (31). Ayaz and Salman claimed 2 wickets each. Amer Holidays got to the target in 16.3 overs. Shams hit 87, Samiullah 51 and Irfan Mushtaq 38. Nouman and Ubaid picked up 2 wickets each.
Pak Shaheen routed All Stars CC by 7 wickets. All Stars CC, batting first, recorded 170. Talha hit 31 and Abdullah 30. Faisal Khan and Abdul Wahab grabbed 3 wickets each and Hafiz Malik 2. Pak Shaheen reached the target in 13.1 overs as Faisal Khan scored 47, Irshad 40, Abdul Waheed 37 and Ibrar 29. Talal bagged 2 wickets.
KFSH Riyadh Warriors thrashed Riyadh Blues by 80 runs. Electing to bat first, KFSH Riyadh Warriors posted 199-8. Syed Adeel made 39, Nasir Abbasi 24, Yassir 22 and Al Amin 22. Aleem, Saud and Shakeel grabbed 2 wickets each. Riyadh Blues were restricted to 119 due to the brilliant bowling display of Mateen Ur Rehman Abbasi and Iftikhar Ali. Mateen took 3 wickets and Iftikhar 4. For Riyadh Blues, Saleem made 25 and Himayat 21.
