MADINAH — Bazm e Ittehad Madinah celebrated its first anniversary here recently. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Saleem, chief patron, Bazm e Ittehad Riyadh was felicitated, on being conferred with Pravasi Excellence Award by the Coalition of Overseas Telangana Association (COTA) in Hyderabad recently. A plaque of appreciation was presented to him by Bazm E Ittehad Global President Ahmeduddin Owaisi. Thanking the organizers for this award, Chief Guest A.R. Saleem said this award is very important and very close to its heart as it is being given in the holy land of Madinah. He expressed his gratitude towards Owaisi family. Saleem disclosed that he had moved to the Kingdom with the help and support of late Sultan Salauddin Owaisi and Ahmeduddin Owaisi. Owaisi had said, "The All India Majlis e Itehhadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has got very good name across India. AIMIM has created employment for over 15,000 people through hospitals, education institutions bank etc. due to dedication work and commitment of AIMIM." On this occasion, General Secretary BIR Mohammed Farooqui Shabaz too was felicitated for being honored as NRI of the month by gulfnris.com. He thanked BIM for this honor. General Secretary and Spokesman BIJ Yousufuddin Amjad announced that Bazm e Ittehad would soon launch its chapter in London and other parts of the world, as there is a huge demand from the Hyderabadi community for establishing chapters in various parts of the world. Ahmeduddin Owaisi presented appreciation certificates to Vice President Riyadh Mohammed Rafeeq, Asrar Ahmed Siddqui and Mohammed Yousufuddin Amjad, from Jeddah, Zeeshan Masood, Dammam, Nazeer Ahmed and all the Madinah team. Earlier, the function started with recitation of verses from Holy Qur'an by Qari Abbas Quadri and Mohammed Imran recited Naat. Syed Shah Ali Quadri Abrar, general secretary, introduced AR Saleem, and Mohammed Akheel Kamal gave the welcome address. Syed Vali ullah Quadri proposed the vote of thanks.
