KGT keeps winning in JBL

JEDDAH — KGT of Vhong Poliga beat Sunbullah 79-73 in the JBL Titan Watch tournament at the Khalidia basketball court here.
KGT played its offense well in the final quarter. Liam scored 22 points for the winner and was adjudged the Titan Watch best player of the game. Pasugnod chipped in with 30 points for the loser.
This tournament is principally sponsored by Titan Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Hussaini). The co-sponsors are Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah), Red Line Diner (Francis Odinar Magat) and Ric Printing.
Blazers Balik Islam of Gabs Khalid Villanueva defeated JDC Warriors 123-69. Sidad and Gandaruza scored 17 and 16 points, respectively for the winner and were named as the Giordano best players of the game. Ahmad top scored with 20 points for the loser.
R Printing of Ric Santos downed Saudia Catering 83-73 in the Weak B Division. Soliveres scored 12 points.
Movenpick beat Wasalak 103-90 as Ancheta top scored with 34 points.
In the 40 & above Division, Wasalak 40's of Fred Concepcion thrashed R Printing 101-86. The winner's offense was unstoppable in the final quarter. Morales led the winner with 24 points and was selected as the JBL best player of the game. Caberte collected 21 points for the loser.
Khalidia 40's of coach Ronnie Carino routed JDC Veterans 127-93. Abdullah Abayon and Mijares hit 19 points apiece for the winner and were adjudged the Titan Watch best players of the game. Shareef poured in 37 points for the loser.
In the JBL Teens, Yellow beat Red 58-39 as Palad top scored with 23 points. Black defeated Red 128-46 in the Juniors Division. Ching scored 25 points. Green downed Gray 105-90 as Domingo chipped in with 28 points. Blue defeated Red 94-79 in the Mix Juniors Seniors Division. Escano top scored with 35 points.
In the Mosquito Division (10 years old and below), Blue defeated Orange 19-18 as De Borja dazzled with 15 points. White beat Yellow 22-18. Hamza Suyat top scored with 17 points. Blue downed Red 20-11. Isaac led the scorers with 12 points.
