Teens White emerges winner

JEDDAH — Teens White defeated Blue 30-20 as Hamza Suyat and Ivan Aries scored 14 and 10 points, respectively, in Mosquito Division (10 years old and below) of the Titan Watch–JBL Basketball Tournament at the Khalidia basketball court here.
Black beat Red 20-15. Hans Olivo top scored with 12 points. Orange won over Yellow 18-6. Andrei De la Cruz contributed 9 points.
This tournament is principally sponsored by Titan Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Hussaini) with the support of co-sponsors Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah), Red Line Diner (Francis Odinar Magat) and R Printing (Ric Santos).
Black edged Yellow 77-74 to stay alive in the elimination round in the Midget Division. Abdulmanan chipped in with 19 points.
Violet thrashed Red 89-63 in the Juniors Division as Usman scored at will for 27 points. Light Blue defeated Green 134-106 in the Mix Juniors Seniors Division.
In the Weak B Division, Clash of Friends of Noel Quito beat Movenpick 93-80. The winner was unstoppable in its offense. Marquez collected 24 points and was adjudged the JBL best player of the game. Ancheta made 29 points for the loser.
Knights of coach Rey Maddatu defeated R. Printing 111-99. The winner played good defense in the final quarter. Teddy Jamahali top scored with 22 points for the winner and was named the Titan Watch best player of the game. Nonoy Soliveres chipped in with 33 points for the loser.
Philippine Institute Civil Engineers (PICE) beat Khalidia 40's 95-91. Ryan Lasaca poured in 23 points for the winner and was selected as the Titan Watch best player of the game. Mijares top scored with 37 points for the loser.
Wasalak of Fred Conception defeated Eagles 115-94 in the 40 & above division. Aquino led the winner with 29 points and was adjudged the Giordano best player of the game, Teddy Jamahali collected 35 points for the loser.
ICHTHUS of Dennis Elmenzo beat Tetra Pak 106-90 in the Weak A Division. Marques contributed 25 points. KGT beat Thunder 80-74 as Liam and Poliga scored 23 and 16 points, respectively.
