Published in The Saudi Gazette on 11 - 02 - 2017

RENAULT Middle East has announced the winners of the ‘My Renault – Shake and Win' campaign. The Dubai based customer, Rita Kardouh, has emerged victorious winning the grand prize of a Renault Captur.
The contest required participants to download the application ‘My Renault' on their mobile phones and on completion they were instructed to shake the device, following which their details were directly submitted to an online raffle draw for the chance to win rewards like one-year free service, an accessories pack and finally a Renault Captur.
The campaign ran until January 2017 across the region and included countries like Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Egypt. The winners were randomly selected after the registered entries were exported to the online draw.
During a ceremony held in Dubai, Marwan Haidamous, MD Renault Middle East, said: "Part of Renault commitment is to provide services for an ‘easy life' to our customers. The ‘My Renault' mobile app is an innovative and pioneering touchpoint to reach customers of a Region with one of the highest mobile connection rate of the World."
The contest emerged with a total of 25 winners from Egypt and the GCC region. Four winners were announced every week.
The "My_Renault" App can be downloaded from Play Store and Apple Store.
Launched in 2013, Renault has been the pioneer in the Middle East Region to rollout a one of its first kind digital platform within the automotive industry.
The platform provides a world of privileges to registered customers, such as access to important information and documentation about their cars, easy and direct access to their local dealer for fast communication (on technical support or service appointment). My Renault is the perfect tool for Renault owners, telling them how and when to take care of their car, via personalized reminders on car registration and service maintenance, as well as useful and educational content broadcast.
Registered customers get exclusive discounts and tailor-made offers, specifically designed according to their vehicle model, engine type, car-manufacturing year or even gender of the car-owner. Customers can download offers vouchers from the website and redeem it at any Renault dealership.
To strengthen its relationship with its customers, Renault uses My Renault portal to share the Brand's latest news from around the globe, and depending on their car model, Renault owners can have access to personalized articles and videos related to their vehicle.
My Renault aims to enhance customer interaction and experience with the Brand, and ensure access anywhere and anytime. My Renault is accessible on all devices that support Internet connectivity, including PCs, tablets and mobile phones. In addition, customers can remotely access their personalized user accounts and information at dealership sites by using their mobile device to scan the unique QR code generated for each individual user.
With this new solution, Renault continues to implement a more extensive range of digital options in response to the needs of its customers, who are increasingly more connected.
The mobile application of Renault is available free of charge on iOS or Android.
