Police arrest driver for hitting boy

MADINA – Police here arrested a driver for hitting a six-year-old boy while he was crossing a road in downtown Madina. Passersby pulled the boy from under the car's wheels and he was rushed to Al-Ansar Hospital in a Red Crescent ambulance. The boy sustained injuries to the head and different parts of his body but is in stable condition. Colonel Omar Al-Nazawi, spokesman of Madina Traffic Police, said the driver was questioned and an investigation is underway. __
