Thrilling matches were played in Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA), here.
In Huraymala League, Watan Pal CC beat Pak Force by 13 runs. Watan Pal posted 212-7. Sulaiman added 55 and Nouman 40. Kamal Akhtar picked up 3 wickets while Kashif and Nisar got 2 each. Pak Force, in reply, managed 199. Kamal Akhtar scored an unbeaten 63 and Kashif added 53. Qaiser bagged 2 wickets.
Kohsar Cricket Club thumped Green Bangla by 6 wickets. Green Bangla put on 164-9. Mazharul Haque Tuhin hit 54. Abubaker, Adnan and Saqib claimed 2 wickets each. Kohsar won the match in 17.2 overs. Shafeeq made 54, Qasim 43 and Saqib 35.
Lahore Badshah Green downed Swat Tigers by 3 wickets. Swat Tigers managed 143-9. Umar Zada added 23. Sahib Zahideen bagged 4 wickets and Atif Hussain 2. Lahore Badshah Green reached home in the last over. Atef Hussain and Ihsan Ul Haq added 30 each. Sardar scalped 4 wickets and Ashraf 2.
Super CC defeated Muslim CC by 23 runs. Super CC posted 212-9. Khawar added 72 and Muneer 41. Fahad took 3 wickets while Waqas and Afzal bagged 2 wickets each. In reply, Muslim CC could score only 189-5. Azhar hit 81 and Fahad 30. Riaz and Shafeeq pocketed 2 wickets each.
The match between Fonte Stars and Riyadh Blues ended in a tie. Riyadh Blues, batting first, scored 182. Shakeel Sadiq top scored with 88. Abdulrahim and Taha took 2 wickets each. Fonte Star also managed 182-5 thanks to Bilal Wani quick-fire 100. Fayaz bagged 4 wickets.
In Hayer League, Thales got the better of Challengers XI by 14 runs. Thales CC scored 216-3. Shujah Chadar remained unbeaten on 98, while Ali Behzaad added 56. Challengers XI, in reply, managed 202-6. Faisal scored 63 and Fazil 46. Shujah Chadar got 3 wickets and Shahab 2.
Talented thrashed Nouman Gymkhana by 5 wickets. Nouman Gymkhana scored 157-7. Adnan added 45 and Shahzad 31. Haseeb bagged 3 wickets. Talented achieved the target in 19 overs. Shoaib blasted 50. Asad picked up 3 wickets.
The encounter between Indian Strikers and PTI also ended in a tie. PTI posted 195-4. In reply, Indian Strikers also scored 195-3. Prasanth Kumar hit 65 and Kannan Gopi 51. Aziz picked up 2 wickets.
In Diriyah League, Smashers outplayed Professionals Creation by 45 runs. Smashers scored 196-9. Yasser Saggaf hit 73 and Sami 46. Chess claimed 3 wickets and Venu 2. Professionals Creation managed 151-9 in reply. Ashraf added 51. Ahmed bagged 3 wickets and Laik 2.
Seham beat Riyadh Rhinos by 25 runs. Seham scored 147-8. Tahir hit 38. Islam and Waseem scalped 2 wickets each. Riyadh Rhinos could score only 122. Abuzar added 31. Naveed and Raees took 3 wickets each.
Karachi Kings downed L'usine by 28 runs. Batting first, Kings scored 198-5. Hasan Younis added 95 and Saif Ur Rehman 61. Shahrayar Malik took 2 wickets. L'usine managed 170-7. Abbas added 39. Nisar picked up 3 wickets and Raza 2.
