Smooth sailing for favorites in RCA MoneyGram CKB T20

RIYADH — Favorites had it easy in the MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah (CKB) T20 Tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by MoneyGram Transfer Service under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Center (SCC) here recently.
In the President Division, CKK outclassed Saudi Jaguars by 104 runs. Put into bat CKK scored 261-7. Nouman Asghar played a blistering innings of 133. Kashif and Najeeb also chipped in with 29 and 27, respectively. Faisal Sheikh took 4 wickets. Jaguars, in reply, managed only 157. Arsalan hit 48 and Waleed 45. Nouman Asghar and Ali Shahid picked 2 wickets each.
KFSH Blues beat Fuchs by 60 runs. Batting first, KFSH Blues scored 200-7. Khurram Baig hit 70 and Saqib Abbasi 52. Sohaib and Zahid took two wickets each. Fuchs, in reply, scored 140. Shahbaz added 50. Saqib Abbasi took 4 wickets, while Nadeem Babar, Irshad Mubashir and Raja Gulraiz grabbed 2 wickets each.
Shuraim trounced Punjab Stars by 10 wickets. Punjab Stars put on 143 runs. Yasif added 44, Faiz 30 and Touseef 22. Arif and Zeeshan claimed 2 wickets each. Shuraim openers Abdul Wahid (80) and Zeeshan (54) raced to the target in 10 overs.
KFSH Green thrashed Riyadh Fighters by 7 wickets. Riyadh Fighters scored 194-7. Tahir and Mansoor claimed 2 wickets each. KFSH Green achieved the target in 18 overs thanks to a scintillating knock of 112 by Ubaid. Shafeeq contributed 58. Nusrat bagged 3 wickets.
Green Bangla got the better of Delhi Dare Devils by 8 wickets. Delhi was restricted to 167 with some fine bowling by Mashuk and Zakir who picked 4 and 2 wickets, respectively. Green Bangla achieved the target in 15.3 overs. Kakon hit 84, Zakir 36 and Mithun 26.
Pak Fighters defeated Nouman Gymkhana by 8 wickets. Nouman Gymkhana was bundled out for 146. Ahsan clinched 4 wickets, while Wasim and Faisal got 2 each. Pak Fighters achieved the target in 14.4 overs. Ahsan scored 63 and Ismail 44.
Lahore Lions beat Pasban by 8 wickets. Pasban put on 99 runs. Israr hit 25. Rizwan bagged 5 wickets, while Omar bagged 3. Lahore Lions achieved the target for the loss of only two wickets. Shahzad picked 2 wickets.
Elsewhere Stallions beat Al-Momen International School by 3 wickets.
In the Chairman Division, Pak Shaheen beat Pakistan Falcons by 118 runs. Pak Shaheen, batting first, posted 258 runs. Abdul Waheed and Abdul Qadir looked in great touch and hit 115 and 82, respectively. Rizwan claimed 3 wickets, while Anwar bagged 2. Falcons, in reply, scored 140. Hamza hit 60 and Waqar 21. Abdulaziz picked 3 wickets, while Ibrar and Wahab claimed 2 each.
Star-XI beat Pak Eagles by 7 wickets. Eagles scored 165-8. Jabir and Abbas got 2 wickets each. Star-XI achieved the target in 13.4 overs. Bilal hit 100 and Amjad 33.
Sulaiman-XI beat Seham by 10 wickets. Batting first, Seham managed 159. Nasir hit 53 and Tahir 28. Faisal bagged 2 wickets. Sulaiman-XI achieved the target in 15.4 overs. Openers Shoaib and Sulaiman remained unbeaten on 74 and 72, respectively.
In other matches: Lahore Badshah beat Punjab Lions by 46 runs; Amir Holidays edged past TBCC by 19 runs; Crescent beat Imran-XI by 1 wicket; Yusafzayi edged Falcons by 3 runs.
