The Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath (TNTJ) Riyadh Chapter organized their 55th Mega Blood Donation Camp to mark the 68th Indian Republic Day recently in Co-ordination with King Fahd Medical City (KFMC). Four hundred and forty-five people participated and altogether they donated 239 units of blood. The KFMC Lab team led by James provided full support to TNTJ volunteers. The Laboratory Supervisor Saud Al Anazi thanked TNTJ organizers for organizing such kind of noble work continuously. The TNTJ Blood Donation campaign coordinator Raisul Kamal said, "So far his organization, TNTJ, has conducted 54 camps and TNTJ continues to be the No. 1 organization for the last 10 years in donating blood and the hospital authorities have awarded more than 15 awards to the group, praising their noble contribution." Further, he said, by the grace of almighty Allah, Riyadh TNTJ continues to be No. 1 on the voluntary blood donation campaign in the Gulf country. In recognition of the noble contribution, TNTJ has received a number of awards from the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia and also from the Tamil Nadu Government. Riyadh TNTJ Secretary Mohamed Faizal said, "TNTJ organizes voluntary blood donation campaign also for emergency requirements and during the Umrah and Haj season. We conduct these camps according to the verse of Noble Qur'an, Chapter 5 verse 32 ‘Whoever saves a life will be as if he has saved entire mankind' that will create social harmony and razes hatred among Muslim and Islam. Also it will help develop Indian-Saudi diplomatic relations."
