Semis lineup finalized in Amex T20

RIYADH — Quarterfinals were played in the Huraymala, Hayer and Diriyah Leagues of the RCA Amex T20 Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by the American Express Saudi Arabia.
Huraymala League
Roadecho Stallions beat FAST CC by 17 runs. Taking the strike first, Stallions made 220-6, thanks to Adnan and Ishfaq who made 54 each. Adeel also played well for his 38. Ayaz, Majeed and Salman grabbed 2 wickets each.
FAST CC, in reply, managed 203-7. Alamzaib scored 64 and Sulaiman 48. Irfan picked up 2 wickets.
Fonte Star won a one-sided affair against Sinmar CC by 9 wickets. Sinmar, batting first, managed 170-8. Zainal played brilliantly and scored 108. Kashif and Saad were the pick of the bowlers with 3 and 2 wickets, respectively. Fonte Star achieved the target in 17 overs. Bilal Wani remained unbeaten on 89, while Waseem Jutt and Shakeel added 50 and 26, respectively.
Friends CC continued its unbeaten run and defeated Pak Force by 7 wickets. Pak Force was all out for 146. Latafat and Jabar were the pick of the bowlers who picked 3 wickets each. Friends CC got to the target in 13.2 overs. Irshad scored 36 and Asghar 34.
Punjab Stars stopped the unbeaten streak of Riyadh Blues by beating it by 7 wickets. Riyadh Blues managed 148. Nakheeb added 57. Yasif Ali bowled excellently and recorded exceptional figures of 5-13. Zaheer also chipped in with 2 wickets. Punjab Stars reached the target in 17.4 overs. Sajjad added 34 and Asif 31.
In the semifinals, Stallions will play Fonte Star and Friends CC will meet Punjab Stars.
Hayer League
Riyadh Fighters PPF got the better of Karachi Dolphins by 68 runs. Riyadh Fighters scored 166-7. Jahangir added 44 and Amir 38. Karachi Dolphins bundled out for a meager 98. Qaiser was the wrecker in chief with 4 wickets. Abdulwaheed and Adil picked up 2 wickets each.
Lahore Badshah Green beat Raavi CC by 62 runs. Lahore Badshah Green scored 221-8. Sahib Zahideen top scored with 130. He was well supported by Afzal (23) and Atif (22). Minhaj and Adnan picked up 2 wickets each. Raavi CC, in reply, posted 159-8. Mehran scored 61. Awais claimed 4 wickets, while Waseem and Atif got 2 each.
Nouman Gymkhana beat Riyadh Panthers by 11 runs. Gymkhana, batting first, scored 202-6. Zaka played well for his 96. Shahzad added 35. Panthers, in reply, managed 191-5. Rizwan scored 54 and Raza 45. Shahzad and Afzal grabbed 2 wickets each.
In the last quarterfinal, Green Bangla defeated Tigers CC.
Semifinals will be Riyadh Fighters PPF vs. Lahore Badshah Green and Green Bangla vs. Nouman Gymkhana.
Diriyah League
Talented CC beat Smashers CC by 4 wickets. Smashers scored 168. Mahraj top scored with 40. Umar, Rizwan and Amer claimed 2 wickets each. Talented CC got to the target in 18.3 overs. Haseeb hit 54 and Amir 28. Zeeshan, Shakir, Ahmed and Shabbir took one wicket each.
Pak Stallions CC beat Delhi Dare Devils by 14 runs. Pak Stallions posted 198. Ansar blasted 71 and Ali 58. Ramzan picked up 3 wickets. Dare Devils managed 184.
Bannu Eagles defeated PTI Tigers CC by 55 runs. Eagles tallied 208-6. Shokat scored 80 and Shaheen 71. Amin grabbed 3 wickets. PTI Tigers was restricted to 153. Sher Alam scored 42 and Amin 31. Arshad claimed 4 wickets, including a hat trick and Shokat 3.
Al-Harbi XI beat Charsadah Kings by 66 runs. Al-Harbi XI posted 180-7. Arshad scored 61 and Samiullah 41. Ashfaq took 3 wickets. Charsadah Kings were all out for 114. Nihal added 28. Salman Shahid accounted for 5 wickets and Naimatullah 4.
In the semifinals, Talented CC will play Pak Stallions and Bannu Eagles will meet Al-Harbi XI.
