Huffaz felicitated by Bazm-e-Idrak, MSF

JUBAIL — Bazm-e-Idrak and Madrasa Salmaan Farsi, Jubail, felicitated the students who had completed memorization of Holy Qur'an as well as the students who won prizes in the Qur'an Surah recitation competitions.
The two-day function which covered Qur'an recitation contests in various categories as well as lectures by several scholars and teachers enlightened the large number of audience.
Saudi Arabia provides an excellent opportunity to learn, recite and memorize Qur'an. The presence of teachers who have dedicated their lives in teaching Qur'an recitation and helping young boys to memorize noble Qur'an is indeed a great blessing.
One such mentor who has guided hundreds and thousands of students in learning and memorizing Holy Qur'an is Hafiz-o-Qari Syed Luthfallah Hussaini of Tahfiz-ul-Qur'an, Tahlia, who has been conducting Hifz (memorization) classes for several years and have produced nearly 100 Huffaz (those who have memorized complete Qur'an) so far.
President of Bazm-e Idrak Syed Waheed Lateef lauded the efforts of the students and their parents, and in particular Hafiz-o-Qari Qazi Syed Abdulkhader, in preparations for the success of the event. It was all evident during the function as student after student kept the audience in awe with their recitation and memorization skills.
All old boys' students ‘Huffaz' of Tahfiz-ul-Qur'an were invited to grace the grand occasion and they were honored with Shawal and some of them arrived as far as from Riyadh into Al-Jubail to attend the function. Also Ustaaz Hafiz-o-Qari Syed Luthfullah Hussaini honored the parents who were instrumental in helping in establishment of Hifz classes in Al-Jubail.
The function was attended by several eminent personalities in the field of education, Islamic teachers, and social welfare workers from all over the Kingdom. The principals of four international Indian schools (IIS), namely; Dr. Syed Hamid – IIS-Jubail, Dr. Shaukat Pervez, IIS-Riyadh, Dr. Mohammed E.K. Shafi, IIS- Dammam, Dr. Masoud Ahmed, IIS-Jeddah were present as guests of honor along with Abdulwaris, chairman of the Managing Committee, IISD, Tashkeen Akbar, chairman of the Managing Committee, IIS-Jubail and Pervez Akhter, vice principal of Pakistan International School.
Among other notable persons who attended the function were Salam Mousa Al Dawood, Director of Tahfiz-ul-Qur'an SWCC and Yahya Mohammed Shabbir, incharge Tahfiz ul Qur'an, Tahlia; Zaheer Baig, president of Hyderabad Association, Mohammed Abdulsatttar, executive vice president of HDC, Meraj Ansari, managing director Siyana Co.; Aziz Ahmed Siddique, project manager, Nasser Al Hajri Constructions; Asif Ali Siddiqui, IT manager, SABIC; Ateequrehman, Naseeruddin Ansari, ex members of the managing committee of IIS-Jubail; Mohammed Ashif, Nassir Shaikh and Javed Gharade.
Before the recitation contest, Dr. Syed Irfanullah spoke about raising of children in the present times and highlighted his points in the light of the guidance given in the noble Qur'an. The mentor of the school, Hafiz-o-Qari Syed Luthfallah Hussaini presented keynote address on topic ‘Your children, Your Reward for the Hereafter' where he highlighted the responsibilities of parents in making their children learn, recite and memorize Qur'an as well as follow the teachings of holy Qur'an.
The program was well organized by team of Bazm-e-Idrak members Qari-o-Qazi Syed Abdulkhader, Hafiz Syed Asadullah, Asif Kamal Siddiqui, Sajjad Malik, Zia Urrahman Ansari, and Mujeenuddin Sultan.
The following Huffaz were awarded the plaques of appreciation for Memorization of Holy Qur'an, Hafiz Mohammed Ayes, Hafiz Qasim Ali Bukhari, Hafiz Mazen Rehan Butt, Hafiz Saad Jawed Gharade, Hafiz Anas Bin Abdurheem, Hafiz Hammad Abdulbasith Kalou, Hafiz Humid Abdulghani, Haif Zaid Nasser Shaikh, Hafiz Abdullah Naqvi Sayeed, Hafiz Syed Musaab Ismail, Hafiz Abdulrahman Sahid.
Also, a surah recitation competition was held and Saad AbuBakr Bakrawala was adjudged first place winner in the senior category, whereas Saad Javed Gharade and Mohammed Ayesh were adjudged second and third place winner respectively. In the junior category, AbuBakr Nadeem got the first prize while Saif urrahman Shaikh and Abdulraheem Imtiaz got the second and third price respectively.
