JEDDAH — New Cabalen Restaurant-R Printing of Japh Villanueva scored over SACC 81-77 to move into the Group B semifinals of the Seiko Watch–JBL Basketball Tournament at the Khalidia basketball court here. It was an exciting match upto the last second of the game. Both teams tried their best to score a victory. Condez scored 26 points for the winner and was adjudged the Seiko Watch Best Player of the Game, while Navio and Reprado chipped in 14 points apiece for the loser. Dela Rosa poured in 33 points for the loser. JDC All Star A defeated Breman Islamic Center 70-68 to earn the first semifinal seat in the Inter-Dawah Division. Jameel Cobre collected 21 points for the winner and was named as the JBL Best Player. Edwardo scored 20 points for the loser. Knights of coach Rey Madattu beat Sand City 83-81. The winner held firm during the last seconds of the game. Garcia topscored with 30 points for the winner and was adjudged the Seiko Watch Best Player. Buhano led the loser with 25 points. On Thursday, Wasalak of coach Fred Conception defeated Underdogs 104-91. Pugao chipped in with 29 points for the winner and was selected as the New Cabelen Restaurant Best Player. Paul Taguba topscored with 21 points for the loser. Fakieh Group of playing coach Ruel Bristol beat Jeddah Clippers 81-69. Ancheta connected 19 points for the winner and was named as the JBL Best Player. Mateo top scored with 33 points for the loser.
