RIYADH — Round 6 of RCA Amex T20 saw some high scoring thrillers last weekend. Organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA), this tournament is sponsored by The American Express Company.
Al-Kharaj League
Sama Steel thrashed KFSH Blues by 49 runs. Sama Steel scored 232-5. Rizwan and Raja stroked fifties, making 71 and 72 runs, respectively. Asif hit 45. Imtiaz took 2 wickets. KFSH Blues managed 183, in reply. Nadeem Babar smashed 53 and Imtiaz 42. Asif and Rizwan claimed 3 wickets each and Adnan 2.
Lahore Badshah defeated Lahore Lions by 7 wickets. Batting first, Lahore Lions was all out for 123. Imran and Yasir bagged 3 wickets each, while Fahad and Akram took 2 each. In reply, Lahore Badshah chased the target in 11.5 overs. Yasir scored 45 and Imran 35.
Amer Holidays beat Riyadh Aces by 5 wickets. Batting first, Riyadh Aces posted 174-8. Hassan scored 41 and Saleem 28. Saeed grabbed 3 wickets and Samiullah 2. In reply, Amer Holidays chased the target in 17.1 overs. Samiullah remained unbeaten on 59 and Shamas scored 35.
Hayer League
Tigers humbled Etihad by 7 wickets. Etihad collected 189 in its allotted overs. Chand top scored with 67 and Bilal made 35. Wasif picked up 3 wickets, while Salish and Riyaz claimed 2 each. Tigers scored the required 190, losing just 3 wickets. Kamran (53), Salish (48) and Sharif (33) took Tigers to victory.
Challengers XI defeated by Karachi Dolphins by 1 wicket. Challengers XI scored 162. Viral smashed an unbeaten 56, Ihsan 39 and Karthik 36. Zain took 2 wickets. Karachi Dolphins won the match in 16.5 overs. Fahad and Kamran scored 31 and 32, respectively. Karthik took 4 wickets and Samar 2.
Riyadh Panthers won against TBCC by 25 runs. Riyadh Panthers compiled 172-6. Asim (43) and Raza (28) batted well. Asif picked up 2 wickets. TBCC scored 147, in reply. Shareef scored 39 and Shamnad 28. Farooq and Asim shared 2 wickets each.
Lahore Badshah Green won against Indian Strikers by 2 wickets. Indian Strikers racked up 170. Vijay scored 34 and Kumar 31. Awais and Atif took 3 wickets each.
Lahore Badshah Green got to the target in 19.5 overs. Zeeshan scored 50 and Baig 29. Mithun and Fenil took 2 wickets each.
Rising Stars was crushed by Kashmir Strikers by 44 runs. Kashmir Strikers tallied 218-7. Umar smashed 70 and Mir 28. Pervaiz bagged 3 wickets. Rising Stars managed 174. Zahoor (31) and Laik (26) batted well. Ayub grabbed 4 wickets and Sameer 2.
