RIYADH — Thrilling matches were played in RCA Amex T20 tournament where Waseem Jutt and Hussain Munawar smashed centuries in the opening round.
Organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA), this tournament is sponsored by the American Express Company.
Huraymala League: Riyadh Blues registered n 8-wicket victory over Kashmir. Kashmir posted 176. Aamir topscored with 59, Wajid made 41 and Khalil 37. Himayath took 2 wickets. Riyadh Blues chased the target in 15.5 overs. Shakeel (55) and Abu Sufyan (51) scored fifties. Saleem and Zaheer contributed 37 and 28, respectively.
Swat Tigers lost to Mohmand by 4 wickets. Tigers scored 158. Shahzad blasted 75 and Israr 27. Lateef picked up 4 wickets and Babar 3. Mohmand won the match in 19.3 overs. Waleed hit 41, Zia 40 and Imad 32. Inam bagged 3 wickets.
Friends thrashed Fonte Star by 19 runs. Friends piled up 214. Zohaib smashed 60, Umer 46 and Rustum 29. Abdul Raheem claimed 3 wickets. Waseem Jutt's unbeaten 56 balls hundred was not enough for Fonte as they managed 195 for 3 in allotted over. Safdar scored 54. Irshad picked 2 wickets.
Super humbled KFSH Green by 6 wickets. KFSH Green scored 182. Kausar made 58 and Noor 31. Adnan, Riaz and Waheed shared 2 wickets each. Super won the match in 18th over. Khawar (61), Muneer (47) and Kashif (29) ensured an easy win.
Roadecho Stallions beat Kohsar by 42 runs. Stallions racked up 214. Imran (65) and Adnan (52) scored fifties, Yasir added 35. Sohail got 2 wickets. Kohsar scrambled to 172. Adnan took 2 wickets.
L'usine lost to Fonte by 6 wickets. L'usine posted 184. Nirmal scored 38, while Syed and Azam contributed 28 each. Shahbaz grabbed 3 wickets and Afaq 2. Fonte Star was home in 17th over. Bilal Wani and Waseem made 90 and 63 runs respectively. Azam picked up 3 wickets.
Punjab Stars humbled Cricket Samarwa by 6 wickets. Cricket Samarwa piled up 167 with Amir making 47, Abu Baker 24 and Raja 23. Yasif claimed 3 wickets and Roshan 2. Punjab Stars chased down the target in 18.1 overs. Roshan smashed 64, Yasif 35 and Arslan 30.
Watan Pal lost to Swat Tigers by 7 wickets. Watan Pal was bundled out for 137. Gohar topscored with 53. Nadir and Abdul Rahim scored 20 each. Asif and Sardar shared 3 wickets each. Shahzad 74 off 38 balls took Tigers to victory in 14.3 overs. Qaiser bagged 2 wickets.
Pak Force defeated Sinmar by 53 runs. Pak Force piled up 208. Imran and Mohsin mustered 46 each and Asim scored 31. Zainul took 2 wickets. Sinmar scored 155, in reply. Zainul (43) and Jimmy (37) showed resistance. Mudassir took 3 wickets, while Nisar, Asim and Kamal grabbed 2 each.

Smashers lost to PTI Tigers by 1 run. PTI scored 161. Asif made 43 and Farhad 38. Talal pocketed 4 wickets and Raheel 2. Smashers managed 160, in reply. Talal socred 51 and Fahim 46. Farhad took 3 wickets while Hassan, Asif and Faisal got 2 each.
Al-Harbi XI defeated Karachi Kings by 70 runs. Al-Harbi XI posted 229 with Arshad (82) and Salman (66) smashing fifties. Umair and Abdul Raheem shared 2 wickets each. Karachi Kings scrambled to 159. Faraz topscored with 38. Salman took 3 wickets and Naimat Ullah 2 wickets.
Kingdom Warriors humbled Royal Strikers by 170 runs. Kingdom Warriors scored 266 as Hussain hit 135 off 58 balls. Liton took 2 wickets. Royal Strikers crawled to 96 in 20 overs. Ammar and Etrut shared 3 wickets each. Suresh remained unbeaten on 25.
Bannu Eagles thrashed Delhi Dare Devils by 49 runs. Bannu Eagles piled up 227. Shaheen smashed 52. Shouqat (35), Aziz (26) and Farman (21) batted well. Delhi Dare Devils scored 178, in reply. Abdul Raheem grabbed 4 wickets and Hanif 2.
Karachi Kings lost to Talented XI by 8 wickets. Karachi Kings scored 133. Abrar and Amir bowled exceptionally well, picking up 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Ali topscored with 27, while Hameed and Arif scored 21 each. Talented rushed to the target in just 13 overs. Haseeb 43, Shoaib 30 and Abdul Rehman 31 ensured an easy win.
