RCA begins SAIB T20 tourney

RIYADH — Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) started a new T20 tournament, dubbed as SAIB T20 which is sponsored by The Saudi Investment Bank.

In Al-Kharaj League, Lahore Badshah defeated Amir Holidays by 6 wickets. Batting first, Amir Holidays was all out for 130. Fahad and Asif bowled excellently and took 4 and 3 wickets, respectively. In reply, Lahore Badshah chased the target in 12.5 overs. Farman top scored with 51, while Yasir and Zahidain scored 27 and 21, respectively.

In Huraymala League, Punjab Lions humbled Kohsar by 7 runs. Punjab Lions scored 186. Amir smashed 58 and Jamshed 36. Saqib took 3 wickets, while Suhail got 2 wickets. Kohsar was restricted to 179. Manan made 65, Qasim 54 and Nasir 31.

Fonte Star registered victory over Hyderabadi Warriors by 10 wickets. Hyderabadi Warriors tallied 144 in the allotted overs. Imroz scored 53. Qasim and Ghulam took 2 wickets each. Fonte Star scored 147 in 10.4 overs. Bilal and Waseem smashed unbeaten fifties, scoring 65 and 77, respectively.
Crescent was downed by Sinmar by 10 wickets. Crescent was all out for a meager 129. Neshter, Rasheek and Yaseen destroyed Crescent batting lineup, picking 3 wickets each. Shazzy made 44. Sinmar won the match in 10.4 overs. Ishtiaq top scored with 72 and Nawas hit 45.

Pakistan Falcons beat KFSH Green by 55 runs. Pakistan Falcons racked up 196 through Junaid (51) and Matiullah (30). Amir, Tahir and Safdar took 2 wickets each. KFSH Green could manage only 141. Ubaid scored 50. Arif took 3 wickets and Asif 2.

Fuchs lost to Stallions by 7 wickets. Fuchs posted 138. Waqar scored 46 and Riaz 30. Amir took 3 wickets, while Gul, Adnan and Saeed got 2 wickets each. Stallions hit the target in the 20th over. Amir hit 53 and Imran 29. Rizwan took 2 wickets.

In Hayer League T20 final, Pakhtunkhwa Gladiators cruised to victory over Indian Strikers by 48 runs. Pakhtunkhawa Gladiators piled up 195. Suleman made 86 and Qasim 60. Aneesh picked up 3 wickets. Indian Strikers replied with 147. Junez and Zubair scored 29 and 28, respectively. Shamas took 3 wickets, while Qasim and Shafiq shared 2 each.

White Star was downed by Aisco by 7 wickets. White Star put on 150. Shahid grabbed 4 wickets and Israr 2. Aisco reached the target in 14 overs. Amjad blasted 83, while Israr contributed 27.

Fast humbled Tigers by 6 wickets. Tigers tallied 143. Kamran smashed 56 and Alvi 28. Fast scored 144 in 14 overs.

L'usine defeated Pasban by 3 wickets. Pasban scrambled to 120. Salman top scored with 42. Rasheed Khan bowled superbly and took 4 wickets for 11 runs. L'usine won the match in 17.4 overs. Rustam (23), Imran (22) and Zafar (21) took the team to victory. Zain and Noman took 2 wickets each.
In Diriyah League T20 final, Bannu Eagles trounced Rawdah Heats by 64 runs. Bannu Eagles piled up 211. Sadiq smashed 77 and Shaukat 54. Akif picked up 4 wickets. Rawdah Heats managed 147.

Phoenix crushed by AKCC Blue by 2 runs. AKCC Blue scored 159. Mohsin, Waqar and Ali made 27 each. Ghufran and Asif took 3 wickets each. Phoenix was restricted to 157. Haseeb top scored with 54 and Asif hit 40. Ali picked up 2 wickets.
