AR Sports T10 tournament begins

RIYADH — Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) started AR Sports T10 Tournament at RCA complex recently. RCA President Tariq Javed inaugurated the event.
Tournament will be played as 10 overs per side and a total of 32 teams are participating in the tourney, which is organized by RCA and sponsored by AR Sports.
Pre quarterfinals
Fonte Star thrashed Super CC by 8 wickets. Shahid (30), Rashid (36) and Kashif (34) helped Super CC post a big total of 139. Kauser grabbed 3 wickets and Afaq 2. Bilal's brilliant 80 off 30 balls powered Fonte to chase down the target in 8.5 overs. Kauser contributed 34.
Nouman Gymkhana was crushed by Swat Tigers by 9 wickets. Nouman Gymkhana collected 127. Hafeez topscored with 48, while Amjad and Aftab scored 30 each. Swat Tigers reached the target in 7.2 overs. Amjad smashed 74 off 24 balls and Israr made 37.
Lahore Badshah White downed L'usine by 32 runs. Lahore Badshah White collected 153. Rizwan played a stunning knock of 98 including 11 massive sixes. Saad scored 22. Talal picked up 3 wickets. L'usine scored 121 in reply. Adeel top scored with 59. Atif and Abdulla took 2 wickets each.
Green Bangla lost to Cricket Samarwa by 22 runs. Cricket Samarwa tallied 140. Abubaker blasted 71 and Waqar hit 29. Shehzan picked up 2 wickets.
Green Bangla fumbled to 118, in reply. Shahid (39) and Tuheen (27) batted well. Waqar bowled superbly and recorded a hattrick.
Punjab Stars defeated Ravi by 36 runs. Punjab Stars racked up 106. Irshad smashed 43 and Rustam scored 18. Ravi scrambled to just 70. Irshad bowled exceptionally well and picked up 4 wickets and Latafat grabbed 2. Adnan (27) and Mahran (22) showed some resistance.
Riyadh Fighters humbled Black Caps by 41 runs. Riyadh Fighters posted 104 through Imran (32) and Omar (18). Black Caps was all out for 63. Sulaiman picked up 3 wickets and Yasser grabbed 2.

Fonte Star 190-2 (Bilal 89, Waseem 58; Suhail 2 wickets) defeated KCC 88-5 (Faraz 35, Suhail 29; Afaq 2 wickets) by 102 runs. Kashmir Strikers 134-3 (Sameer 80) lost to Super 140-2 (Noman 69, Shahid 37) by 6 runs.
Swat Tigers 121-2 (Shahzad 31, Inam Ullah 37, Israr 26; Amjad 2 wickets) beat Sialkot XI (120-1) by 8 wickets.
L'usine 120-3 (Rustam Ali 79, Ali 29, Malik 2 wickets) thumped Pak Riderz 102-3 (Ralod 33; Talha 2 wickets) by 18 runs.
White Star 140-4 (Saad and Fahad 2 wickets each) was humbled by Lahore Badshah White 158-4 (Fahad 68, Saad 52) by 18 runs. Cricket Samarwa 136-3 (Waqar 37, Hamza 34, Abu Baker 28) defeated Thales 112-4 (Aziz 53; Aasif Shaikh 3 wickets) by 24 runs. Punjab Stars 91-5 (Irshad 50, Roshan 22) beat Asia XI 90-6 (Yasif 3 wickets) by 5 wickets.
Karachi Dolphins 117-7 (Adnan 3 wickets, Afzan 2) lost to Ravi 127-5 (Abu Baker 61) by 10 runs.
Riyadh Fighters 160-6 (Imran 43, Omer 36, Yasir 23; Nawaz 2 wickets) won against Sinmar 102-5 (Nawaz 35, Zainul 38) by 58 runs.
