As the rate of chronic kidney disease increases by 10% every year, and thus becomes a growing concern for the Saudi population, Diaverum announced the opening of a kidney center in the holy city of Madinah. This opening, along with recent ones in Dammam and Makkah, demonstrates Diaverum's commitment to the objectives of the Healthcare sector within Saudi Vision 2030 by ensuring state-of-the art renal care throughout the whole Kingdom. This opening is also particularly important because it will allow pilgrims who require renal care to travel to Madinah during Haj. Ziyad Kabli said, "As one of the world's leading renal care providers, patients are at the core of what we do which is why we focus on providing much needed innovative, flexible, community oriented service to patients and their families". Diaverum's network now includes 18 clinics treating more than 1,800 patients in KSA, making Diaverum the largest private renal care provider in the country as part of the 5-year contract awarded to them by the Saudi Ministry of Health.
