A south Indian social organization, "Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamaath (TNTJ), successfully organized a blood donation campaign recently under the supervision of Dammam Central Hospital in which more than 160 volunteers donated 146 units of blood. Abdulla Al-Otaibi, director of Regional Laboratory supervised the entire donation campaign and lauded the efforts of TNTJ for organizing such a noble campaign on a regular basis. THTJ head in Dammam Syed Ali said that these campaigns were in line with the teaching of the Holy Qur'an. Such campaigns help in creating good will and social harmony. He said so far TNTJ organization has conducted 47 campaigns in Alkhobar, Dammam, Qatif and Jubail hospitals. TNTJ continues to be No. 1 organization in blood donation camps in Tamil Nadu as well as in the GCC countries. In India too, the Tamil Nadu government has conferred a number of awards praising TNTJ's noble work. TNTJ also regularly performs educational, charity, humanitarian and social services. These events help in improving harmony and brotherhood.
