DAMMAM — The Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamaath (TNTJ), a South Indian organization, successfully organized a blood donation campaign at Dammam Central Hospital which also supervised the camp. Eighty-six volunteers participated in the blood donation campaign and donated 81 units of blood. Mansoor Al-Rashidi, director of regional laboratory at Dammam Central Hospital, paid special attention to this blood donation camp and thanked the TNTJ organizers for organizing such noble work on regular basis. According to the TNTJ Chief of Dammam unit, Umar Farooq, so far TNTJ has conducted 41 campaigns in Al Khobar, Dammam, Qatif and Jubail hospitals. TNTJ continues to be No. 1 organization in blood donation in Tamil Nadu as well as in GCC countries. In India too, the Tamil Nadu government has awarded a number of awards praising TNTJ's noble work. TNTJ also regularly performs educational, charity, humanitarian, and social services to serve the people. These events help in improving harmony and also creates awareness about Islam. — SG
