The Board of Directors of Okaz Organization for Press and Publication, meeting on Thursday under the chairmanship of Dr. Sa'ed Al-Orabi Al-Harithy, lauded the performance of the board's chairman and the organization's management and editorial sections for upgrading staff professionalism. The board approved the organization's final account for fiscal year 2009 and the general budget for the year 2010, while extending an invitation to the members of the General Assembly to attend the annual meeting which is set to take place on April 8. A discussion was also held on a number of issues relating to the organization's tasks and goals, and decisions were adopted to improve the organization's work environment and products. Dr. Al-Harithy praised the members of the board for their participation and dedication to the development of the organization and the achievement of its goals. Present at the meeting were Dr. Waleed Arab Hashim, the deputy chairman of the board, Waleed Kattan, general director, Ahmad Al-Battah, board secretary, and board members Dr. Hamoud Al-Badr, Abdul Latif Al-Jabr, Abdullah Khayyat, Hussein Shobokshi, and Dr. Tariq Fadak.
