[gallery size="medium" td_select_gallery_slide="slide" td_gallery_title_input="Thai community marks Family Day" ids="45288,45274,45273,45287,45286,45285,45284,45283,45282,45281,45280,45279,45277,45276,45275"] JEDDAH — The Royal Thai Consulate-General, in cooperation with Thai Community in western region, hosted a gathering for Thai citizens to celebrate the annually Thai Family Day at the Thai Consul-General's residence on Friday, March 25. More than 600 Thais took part in the celebration, which was marked by Thai cultural presentations and performances from Thai students of the Non-Formal and Informal Education Learning Center in Jeddah under the supervision of the Royal Thai Consulate General in Jeddah. Thai Consul General Thanis Na Songkhla delivered a welcoming remarks and wished them well-being and happiness on the Thai Family Day. The celebration was organized to foster unity among members of the Thai community. The children also performed their various talents in classical and modern dancing and singing. Na Songkhla also expressed his thanks to the Thai community for contributing their roles in promotion of social values and discipline as quality expats. A certificate awarding ceremony for graduated students from the center in primary, secondary, and high school levels presented by Thai Consul General which this year the first batch of high school students were graduated. A variety of delicious Thai dishes and lucky draws with many prizes including two return economy class tickets, sector Jeddah-Bangkok-Jeddah were offered by the members of the Thai vommunity, Thai restaurants in Jeddah, and Oman Air.
