The Royal Thai Consulate General in Jeddah, in cooperation with the Thai community in the Kingdom's western region, hosted a gathering for Thai citizens to celebrate the Thai Family Day at the residence of Thai Consul General Chalee Sakolvari on March 29. Sakolvari welcomed all participants and wished them happiness on the Thai Family Day. He also expressed his thanks to the Thai community for their roles in the promotion of social values and discipline as quality expatriates in the Kingdom. More than 800 Thais took part in the celebration, which was marked by Thai cultural presentations and shows from students of the Thai Language Distance Learning Center in Jeddah. It was organized to foster unity among members of the Thai community and let Thai children showcase their talents in performing cultural dances. A variety of delicious Thai dishes and lucky draws with many prizes were offered by the members of the Thai community.
