Tariq, Imran, Usman dazzle with tons

JEDDAH — Tariq Siddiqui of Universal XI, Imran Qaiser of Al-Kabbani Cricket Group and Usman Amjad of Emper Perfumes excelled with centuries in the Morning T20 of the WPCA Cricket Championshp.
Sadafco downed Jeddah Challengers, QRCC defeated Wolves XI, Universal XI had the better of Brasa De Brazil, Al-Kabbani Cricket Group won against Crown Blue, Emper Perfumes had the last laugh against Gujarat Eagles, Arcoma prevailed over Jeddah Tigers and Mercedes Benz edged past Ralco. Sadafco had the better of Jeddah Challengers by 16 runs. Sadafco piled up 142-9 with Asim scoring 29, Ali 28, Zubair Munir 27 and Andulrehman 16. Majid took 4 wickets for 18 runs and Farhan 4-26.
Jeddah Challengers, in reply, was restricted to 126-7. Rizwan top scored with 56 and added 51 runs with Omar (19). Iqbal Patel took 3-25.
QRCC edged past Wolves XI by 10 runs. QRCC produced 166-6 as Yasir smashed 53 in 40 balls, Abdulrauf 47 and Amir 12. Adil took 2-28 and Tayyab 2-29. Wolves XI, in chase, was stranded at 156-8. Fayyaz top scored with an unbeaten 80 in 39 balls, Rayyan made 19 and Waleed 15. Two wickets each went to Usman (2-25), Yasir (2-27) and Haseeb (2-31).
Universal XI beat Brasa De Brazil by 57 runs. Universal XI plundered 239-4, thanks to Tariq Siddiqui blasting 124 in 49 balls with 4 sixes and 15 fours. He added 101 in 46 balls for the first wicket with Bilal (27). Shebi remained unbeaten on 60 off 28 balls. Bilal took 2-51.
Brasa De Brazil, in reply, managed 182-6. Umair scored 50 in 19 balls as he added 82 with Bilal (65 in 35 balls). Naeem remained unbeaten on 23. Asif took 3-28.
Al-Kabbani Cricket Group defeated Crown Blue by 4 wickets. Crown Blue posted 149-7 through Arif Jutt (59 in 38 balls), Qaiser (17), Faizi (15) and Junaid (20).
Al Kabbani Cricket Group, in response, got to the winning target (152-6) in 105 balls, thanks to a fine ton by Imran Qaiser who hammered 100 in 47 balls with 3 sixes and 13 fours. He first added 60 with Faisal (14) and then 54 with Erfan (10). Azhar took 2-18.
Emper Perfumes beat Gujarat Eagles by 9 wickets. Gujarat Eagles managed 131-7. Sajjad made 39, Arshad 29 and Waqas 15.
Usman took 3 for 12.
Emper Perfumes reached 135 for 1 in 76 balls as Usman Amjad blasted an unbeaten 104 in 49 balls with 2 sixes and 17 fours.
Arcoma prevailed over Jeddah Tigers by 7 wickets. Jeddah Tigers was bundled out for 103. Venkat made 32, Saeed 20 and Waseeq 14. Ilyas took 3-18 and Rabbani 3-24.
Arcoma, in chase, got to the victory target (104-3) in 71 balls. Kaleem hit 23, Shareef 29 and Tahir 13. Abdullah took 2-15.
Mercedes Benz won against Ralco by 23 runs. Mercedes Benz mustered up 153-9. Amir stroked 27, Shafeeq Kavil an unbeaten 25, Saif Rana 19 and Waheed 15. Tanweer took 2-20 and Arsalan 2-34.
Ralco, in reply, was restricted to 130-9. Arsalan made 33, Tayyab 25 and Waqas 14. Javed, Furkhan, Afzal and Tayyab grabbed 2 wickets each.
