Al Bakri Foundation signs partnership agreements with 4 charitable societies

In its continued efforts to provide financial and in-kind support to the non-profit sector in Saudi Arabia, Abdulkader Al Bakri Foundation signed partnership agreements with four charitable societies operating in several developmental fields.
Subsequent to signing the agreements with Majid Society, District Centers Society Jeddah branch, Al Mawadah Society and Marriage Society, Sheikh Abdulkader Al Bakri, chairman of Al Bakri Foundation revealed that the choice of societies was based on their programs and the community focus of the chosen charitable societies.
"Aiming for cooperation and mutual support among charitable societies and our foundation, we seek to sign more agreements to enable us to reach a larger segment and amplify our impact," Sheikh Abdulkdader Al-Bakri said.
"Our core objectives as a foundation is to empower like minded organizations and individuals through technical and financial assistance to achieve a measurable and scalable impact," Sheikh Abdulkdader Al-Bakri added.
In addition, Sheikh Abdulkader Al-Bakri explained that reaching out to members of disadvantaged communities is a prime focus for the foundation and is its main role where no effort is spared in ensuring that members of such communities receive the care they deserve and need.
Out of Al Bakri Foundation valuable achievements come, such as:
Renovating Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in Madinah for SR4 million
Preparing and facilitating 100 rooms/ suites at the cost of SR15 million
Building and equipping a physiotherapy and artificial limbs extension center for SR3 million
Setting up a dialysis center in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah at the cost of SR3 million.
In addition, Sheikh Abdulkdader Al-Bakri explained that there are prominent and effective societies and foundations that continue to offer valuable community services as a result of the support they receive from the Ministry of Social Affairs and other community members such as businessmen and philanthropic individuals and organizations.
"Thus, we in Abdulkader Al Bakri Foundation, strive to provide the best services that will enable the advancement of the charity and development field in our community enabling to effectively and efficiently serve more community members," he added.
Speaking to representatives of the charitable societies, Sheikh AbdulKader Al-Bakri praised their efforts and achievements and urged them to double their efforts as well as utilize the newly signed agreements in order to achieve more impact.
The signing ceremonies were attended by Sheikh Abdulkdader Al-Bakri, Ghassan Al Bakri, Dr. Zuhair Al Bakri, Hani Al Bakri and Mohammad Al Bakri as well as key representatives from the attending charitable societies.
