Nasir claims 7 for 5 in Morning T20

JEDDAH — Sadafco, Stallions, Crown Blue, GBest IDB, Arcoma, Royal Brothers and MFCC won their matches in the Morning T20 Tournament, organized and sponsored by WPCA.
Sadafco thrashed Wolves XI by 38 runs. Sadafco, using the track first, piled up 181-6. Ali Jan Mugheri top scored with 76 in 45 balls and Zubair M. hit 22 and the two added 95 runs for the third wicket. Asim made 15 and Zameer 28. Two wickets each were taken by Basit (2-41), Tayyab (2-34) and Iftikhar (2-28).
Wolves XI, in reply, was stranded at 143-9. Iftikhar scored 37, Rayan 24, AbdulBasit 50 and Talha unbeaten 20. Ehtesham took 2-19, Iqbal Patel 2-23 and Shaju 2-32.
Stallions defeated QRCC by 43 runs. Stallions tallied 174-5. Abdulrehman smashed 54 in 33 balls, while Arsalan scored an unbeaten 57 in 24 balls and Asim unbeaten 23. Abdulrauf scalped 2-20 and Haseeb 2-26.
QRCC, in chase, was restricted to 131-6. Usman hit 25, Abdulrauf 37, Amir 20 and Zahid 10. Hassan Ali took 2-19.
Crown Blue humbled Al Saudi Green by 6 wickets. Al Saudi Green was bundled out for 83 as Nasir of Crown Blue cut through the batting line-up by taking 7 wickets in 2.5 overs for just 5 runs. From the Al Saudi Green the only resistance came from Abbas Saad, who remained unbeaten on 38 out of the team total of 83. Faiz (11) and Abdulrehman (10) touched double digits.
Crown Blue, in reply, took 57 balls and 4 wickets to hit the winning target of 85. Saqib Butt scored 29, Iftikhar 19 not out and Saleem Mehar 10.
GBest IDB prevailed over Rehab Riders by 4 wickets. Rehab Riders posted 133-3, thanks to Maqsood who made 51 in 47 balls and Tanveer 51 in 33 balls. The two added 83 for the third wicket.
GBest IDB responded with 137-6 in 105 balls. Munawwar hit 22, Jaffar 42, Junaid 24 and Adeel unbeaten 23. Tanveer grabbed 3-14 and Waheed 2-18.
Arcoma thrashed Gujarat Eagles by 10 wickets. Gujarat Eagles, batting first, was bowled out for 108. Waqas contributed 28 and Mohammed Adil 13. Rabbani grabbed 3-18 and Nabeel 2-26.
Arcoma achieved the victory target of 112 in 69 balls with all the 10 wickets intact as Kaleem scored an unbeaten 36 and Pervez unbeaten 64 in 37 balls.
Royal Brothers edged past INMA by 5 runs to win. Royal Brothers collected 158-9. Waqar Abbasi hit 2 fours in his 54 in 42 balls, Abdullah Khan 12 and Muneer 14. Imran claimed 2-38 and Ranjith 2-42.
INMA, in response, batted well but fell short by 5 runs. Satish hit 2 fours to compile 20 in 23 balls, Dayan 32 in 27 balls with 5 fours and Nadeem top scored with an unbeaten 54 in 29 balls with 6 fours to get to 153 for 5 in the allotted 18 overs. Afsar Khan got 1-26 and Haneef 1-32.
MFCC beat New Young Stars by 3 wickets. New Young Stars was restricted to 102-9. Arsalan top scored with 35, Rifaqat Ali 13 and Rizwan 11. Mohsen grabbed 3-19.
MFCC achieved the winning target of 104-7 in 92 balls. Mohsin scored 19, Farhan remained unbeaten on 26 and hit Waseem 13. Rizwan took 3-33 and Ibrar 2-40.
