Miller collected his own rebound, swooped behind the net and beat Canucks goaltender Ryan Miller on a wraparound for the winner. Capitals 6, Blue Jackets 3: The Washington Capitals scored four goals on their first nine shots and roared to a 6-3 victory over the woeful Columbus Blue Jackets. Nicklas Backstrom scored two goals, while Alex Ovechkin, Jason Chimera, Marcus Johansson and Andre Burakovsky also scored for the Capitals, who have earned points in 17 of their last 19 games (16-2-1). Devils 4, Flames 2: Reid Boucher scored a goal and added an assist as the New Jersey Devils beat the Calgary Flames 4-2 at the Prudential Center. Adam Larsson, Lee Stempniak and Andy Greene scored for New Jersey, who improved to 23-19-5 with their second straight win. Maple Leafs 3, Flyers 2: The slumping Toronto Maple Leafs stunned the surging Philadelphia Flyers by scoring with 7.5 seconds left in regulation to grab a 3-2 win at Wells Fargo Center. Matt Hunwick whipped a slap shot high past goaltender Steve Mason to win it as the Maple Leafs (17-20-7), who entered with the NHL's fewest wins, halted a five-game losing streak. Bruins 4, Canadiens 1: Boston winger David Pastrnak had a goal and an assist to lift the Bruins to a 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre. Goaltender Tuukka Rask stopped 38 shots for the Bruins (24-16-5), who have now won three straight for the first time since mid-December. Lightning 6, Oilers 4: The Tampa Bay Lightning extended their season-high winning streak to six games Tuesday, getting a short-handed goal from Brian Boyle in the third period on the way to beating the Edmonton Oilers 6-4 at Amalie Arena. The Lightning (25-17-4) saw a two-goal lead disappear in the third period, only to get it back on Boyle's goal with 12:18 remaining. Kings 3, Stars 2: Milan Lucic scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period as the Los Angeles Kings defeated the Dallas Stars 3-2 at Staples Center. It was Lucic's 12th goal of the season.
