NASHVILLE — Nashville center Mike Ribeiro's 700th career point came on a tiebreaking goal during the third period, giving the Predators a 3-2 win over the New York Rangers.

Kings 4, Lightning 2: The Los Angeles Kings scored three times in the opening period and beat Tampa Bay 4-2, ending the Lightning's franchise-record 10-game home winning streak.
Right wing Justin Williams scored twice, including a key goal in the third period after the Lightning had cut a three-goal deficit to one, to give the Kings (22-18-12) just their sixth road win of the year.
Canadiens 6, Devils 2: Center Tomas Plekanec and right winger Dale Weise each scored twice to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 6-2 home win over the New Jersey Devils.
Maple Leafs 5, Oilers 1: Goaltender James Reimer stopped 32 shots and came within 2.3 seconds of a shutout as the Toronto Maple Leafs snapped an 11-game losing streak with a 5-1 home win over the Edmonton Oilers.
Bruins 2, Islanders 1: Right winger Loui Eriksson scored the winning goal in the third period as the Boston Bruins edged the visiting New York Islanders 2-1. The Bruins had lost their last three home games against the Islanders.

Sabres 3, Stars 2: Right winger Chris Stewart had three assists to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars. Buffalo built a three-goal lead early in the second period and survived to end a season-worst six-game home losing streak.
Blue Jackets 4, Senators 1: Columbus goalie Curtis McElhinney stopped 34 shots against his former team and the Blue Jackets broke open a scoreless game with four goals in the final period, including an empty-netter, to beat the Ottawa Senators 4-1.
Red Wings 3, Coyotes 1: Goalie Peter Mrazek turned aside 22 shots to post his seventh win in his last nine starts as the Detroit Red Wings topped the Arizona Coyotes 3-1 for their third straight win and 11th in their last 13 games.
Wild 1, Avalanche 0: Minnesota netminder Devan Dubnyk recorded his fourth shutout in nine starts since being acquired in a January trade, and the Wild won their fifth in a row, 1-0 over the Colorado Avalanche.
Canucks 5, Penguins 0: Center Shawn Matthias scored for the first time in eight games and right winger Zack Kassian ended a 21-game stretch without a goal as the Vancouver Canucks defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-0.
Hurricanes 5, Sharks 4: The lowly Carolina Hurricanes finished a road trip in style with a 5-4 win over the San Jose Sharks.
