On the sideline of agreement signed between Alexandria University and King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Center for Special Needs Children, a two-day cultural event for the benefit of special needs children was held at Egypt's consul general's residency in Jeddah on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"On the occasion of this cultural event with the main goal to support special needs children, I welcome Prince Turkey Bin Talal Bin Abdul Aziz for his presence. This creative event reflects the long-lasting strong relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in various fields," Egypt consul general Adel El-Alfy said.
El-Alfy applauded all participants who worked hard for the success of the event.
Riham El-Alfy, wife of consul general said: "I am so delighted to receive all guests who came to the event that extends the cooperation between the two countries. It is a humanitarian initiative to extend the communication channels in training and caring for special needs children field, which still has a wide space for development in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and all Arab countries.
The cultural event is held on the sideline of the agreement signed by the University of Alexandria and King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Center for Special Needs Children in Jeddah with the aim to exchange expertise to boost education for special needs children."
El-Alfy thanked designer Yasmin Yahya, models and global hairdresser Mohammd El Saghir and congratulated him for his book. She also thanked Saudi painter Shalimar Sharbatly for showcasing some of her paintings during the event and for being the 1st Arab artist to have her paintings showcased in Louvre Museum.
Yasmin Yahya expressed excitement on being part of the valuable cultural event. "I am so pleased to be participating in the event that aims to support special needs children and to represent Egypt in this dear event," she said.
Yahya has been working in fashion design since 2007 and specialized in brides' wedding dresses. The beauty of the bride herself always inspires her and that is why for every bride she designs specific dress keeping in mind that the bride is the queen of the event.
El Saghir said that the event is valuable and honoring and good job is being done. "We always say that Egypt and Saudi Arabia are two close countries and this reflected in this event."
El Saghir said that Yahya is an enthusiastic fashion designer and proves herself in the field with her unique designs. "In my long experience in défilé de mode I always say that the new generation is re-adjusting Egypt in the world of latest fashion."
On the latest hairstyles for brides, El Saghir said that updos are the best, and for winter haircuts- short and shoulder length haircuts are in and he recommended brown as the winter hair color.
