Fourteen Saudi students studying in Malaysia on scholarship from Al-Bir Foundation have been transferred to King Abdullah Scholarship Program, said Dr. Mazin Bin Muhammad Batarji, Chairman of the foundation in Jeddah. “Our scholarship program, running for several years now, has been providing orphans with opportunities to study abroad. It increases their chances of getting better jobs in the future.” The staff of the scholarship program exerts great efforts to provide orphans with all what they need and to follow up with them, Dr. Batarji added. It costs the program SR50,000 to pay for tuition and living expenses including travel expenses for one student, he pointed out. __
