JEDDAH — Consul General of Pakistan Abdul Salik Khan inaugurated the new ladies waiting hall at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah Sunday. The hall has the capacity to accommodate 50 persons and is equipped with modern comforts and attached lavatories and washrooms. Speaking on the occasion, Khan said that it was the prime responsibility of the mission to look after the comforts and facilities of the Pakistani community in the Western region of Saudi Arabia. He said the establishment of the ladies waiting room was needed since long and with the grace of Allah we have succeeded today to provide this facility to the visiting women. The Consul General said that the plan to expand the waiting room for men and to provide more comforts for the visitors in the passport section is underway and will be accomplished soon. He urged visitors not to hesitate to pin-point any short comings and give their valuable suggestions for further improvements in the services for the welfare of the Pakistani community.
