JEDDAH: Prince Mishal Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Najran Region, Tuesday appreciated the contribution of Pakistani community in the progress and development of the Kingdom. Pakistan, he said, is a brotherly country and is dear to the Saudi leadership. The Emir's comments came during his meeting with Consul General of Pakistan Abdul Salik Khan. The Emir also assured Khan that he would resolve the problems of Pakistani community in Najran region on a priority basis, a press release issued by the Pakistani consulate said. Khan said that the Kingdom under the wise leadership of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has made tremendous progress in all sectors of the economy and his vision has made it a strong and stable country. The Kingdom and its leadership, he said, is source of strength for the Muslim Ummah which looks toward Saudi leadership for its guidance. He said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy close fraternal relations which have stood the test of the time. He also brought to the Emir's notice some urgent problems of the Pakistani community in the region.
