JEDDAH — The Pakistani Consulate's website was relaunched by Consul General Abdul Salik Khan on Sunday. Khan said it had always been his aim to provide comfort to overseas Pakistanis living in the western region of Saudi Arabia. He said: “Re-launching of this website is a major step in this direction. “We have tried to provide all such information in this website which should benefit our community as well as our Saudi brothers.” He said in the website's frequently asked questions section answers had been provided to questions selected after continuous meetings with members of the Pakistani community and Saudi sponsors. The website also provides information about Saudi labor laws.Khan said forms for various consular procedures are now available on the website that can be downloaded and submitted to the consulate. Guidelines have also been provided on all community related services and issuance of visas to foreigners.
He also expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for his continued commitment and interest in promoting bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as well as ensuring the welfare of the Pakistani community living in Saudi Arabia.
