Egyptian police have arrested a man who is suspected of strangling to death 72-year-old Saudi businessman Abdullah Khalid Bin Rahat in Cairo last week. The accused, nicknamed as Abdo Shagawah, worked at a cafeteria nearby and used to visit the victim regularly. He, however, disappeared after the incident and was found in the city of Al-Min'ya, 400 km from Cairo. On interrogation, Shagawah admitted strangling the businessman with a table lamp wire and escaping with money and valuables from the apartment. Abdo Al-Brazili, a friend of Shagawah, has been accused of supporting the crime. He waited in the ground floor for his accomplice, sources said. Police found the victim's body when they broke into the apartment three days after the incident. Rahat's friend, an Egyptian engineer, called the authorities when the businessman did not answer his phone or the door bell. Rahat's body was transported to the Kingdom on Sunday after autopsy. __
