The Egyptian authorities have launched an investigation into the murder of a Saudi businessman in a Cairo suburb. The Haram Intelligence of Giza Governorate in Egypt is currently working on the case. The Saudi businessman was found dead in the bedroom of his apartment on Al-Haram Street in the Faisal Residential Area. He was found hanging with electric wire. Everything was stolen from the apartment. Egyptian security sources told Okaz/Saudi Gazette that the First Assistant Minister of Interior in Giza had been informed by the doorman of the apartment building that something was wrong. The doorman had knocked on the door but no-one had answered. Police officers had to force their way into the apartment where they found the dead man. The police found that many items were stolen. They concluded that the motive for the killing was to steal valuables from the apartment. The victim owned the apartment. He also owned companies in the Kingdom. He traveled to Egypt for a few months every year. Sources inside the Saudi Embassy in Cairo said that the embassy was working with the Egyptian security departments to get information about the murder and to receive the dead body. __
