Police here arrested three Somalis including a 29-year-old woman for stealing jewelry worth SR300,000 from a house where the arrested woman worked as a housemaid. The lady of the house, who reported the theft to the police, found that the whole safe where she kept her valuables had disappeared from her bedroom. The Somali suspect admitted to have committed the crime. She said she called in her two accomplices when the lady of the house was away visiting some relatives. The police followed and arrested the two accomplices with the stolen items in their possession. Police spokesman said the stolen items were all returned to the owner.
