NAJRAN — The Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution (BIP) in Najran is investigating allegations of child molestation against the doorman of an international school. An Egyptian parent, who works as a civil engineer, is accusing the doorman of molesting his five-year-old daughter. CCTV's are installed in the school, and the BIP has requested a copy of the recording. The director of Najran health directorate, Saleh Al-Mouness, said security patrols brought the child to the maternity hospital for examination. The doctors found bruises on her body including in sensitive parts. However, her virginity was preserved. She was also examined by a socialist and a psychiatrist, who said the girl was in stable condition. The child's father said his daughter Hala informed her mother that the doorman took her to a room. He then asked her to strip her clothes and bit her in different parts of her body. The father informed the police and went to the school with his wife and daughter. The doorman was confronted with the child who identified him, but he denied the charge. The doorman was detained by the police. The father added that relatives of the accused offered him money to drop the charges, but he refused. The accused is being detained in Al-Khalidiyah police station for further investigations. — SG
