Under the auspices of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and in the presence of Prince Fahd Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Tabuk region, the Ministry of Transport will organize here on Sunday, a ceremony to lay the foundation stone of the Tabuk-Madinah expressway project. The Minister of Transport Dr. Jabarah Bin Eid Al-Suraisiry said that once completed the expressway will be 588 km in length and will reduce the distance of the current road connecting Madina and Tabuk by more than 100 kilometers. The expressway project will be completed in several stages at a total cost of SR340 million. The minister thanked the Saudi leadership for its support for the nation's transport sector.
