Prince Fahd bin Sultan To Lay Foundation Stone for Tabuk-Madinah Expressway

In the presence of Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Tabuk Region, the Ministry of Transport will organize here tomorrow a ceremony to lay the foundation stone of the project of Tabuk-Madinah Expressway.
This was stated by the Minister of Transport, Dr. Jabara bin Eid Al-Suraiseri.
The minister said that works on the project began through several stages whose total length is "78" kms, including this phase whose foundation stone will be laid with a length of "50" kms and is estimated to cost SR 340 Million.
The Minister said that the total length of the Tabuk-Madinah Expressway is "588" km.
He added that the road will reduce the distance of the current road by more than 100 kms.
